Crawford Electric Cooperative is guided by seven principles, one being Concern for Community. One way the co-op lives out this principle is through charitable donations and sponsorships. If you’d like your event or organization to be considered, please look through the following guidelines and submit an application using the form below.
Guidelines for a donation or sponsorship
-
The requesting organization must be non-profit and based in our general service territory conducting the majority of its charitable activity in the area.
-
All requests must be submitted in writing via email or mail using the form below. Please include a copy of any promotional material you are using to advertise event or cause.
-
Requests should be submitted at least one month prior to when needed.
-
Fundraising for group or individual travel expenses (air, gas, food or lodging) will not be considered.
-
Donations will not be made to individuals or for an individual’s benefit and may not be used to advance religious or political causes.
-
Schoolwide events and benefits may be considered, but the co-op does not sponsor sport teams or donate to school-based clubs and teams.
We especially encourage those offering educational services, youth engagement, senior citizen resources or vital services to apply. Priority consideration will be given to requests made by our consumer-members and causes with the most impact on our service area.
Community is not just where we work; it’s why we work. Crawford Electric is honored to be able to support community efforts that enhance the quality of life of our consumer-members.
Once submitted, a response stating whether or not your request has been accepted or denied can be expected in no more than 10 business days.
