Make your voice heard
At Crawford Electric Cooperative, our members have a voice in how their cooperative is governed. What does that mean? It means that members play an important role by electing directors to represent them and by making decisions on the bylaws that guide our co-op.
Directors help develop our long-term strategies so we can supply reliable, safe and affordable power not just for today’s members, but also for future generations. They are your voice at the cooperative, and they work hard for you.
Last year, more than 2,300 members voted in the election to determine who would represent them on the board. This year, early voting opens on August 14 and runs through September 14. See Page 1 for details on the convenient ways to cast your vote. Members who have an email address on file with us will receive email reminders with voting instructions. Information will also be available on our website, and members can vote in person at our Annual Meeting on September 16.
You will also be asked to vote on Proposition A, a bylaw amendment that would change health insurance coverage for directors. See page 1 for information on Proposition A. We encourage you to use your voice and vote.
